Florida Homeschool Requirements:
- Your child MUST be registered for school by the year they will be 6 years old on February 1st.
- Submit your notice of intent when you begin schooling
- Maintain a portfolio for each child.
- If necessary, Make your portfolio “available for inspection by superintendent or the superintendent’s agent, upon 15 days’ written notice.”
- Submit an annual evaluation each year on or before the anniversary of your letter of intent.
How do I sign up for a homeschool evaluation?
Easy Florida Homeschool Evaluation uses a website to help with the portfolio evaluation process.
- Make an account on the website:
First Name and Last Name are referring to the child’s first and last name.
Parent’s name should match the parents name written on the letter of intent. If there are changes to this information the county may ask for a reason and documents showing the change.
The address you type will be printed on the letter. Please use proper capitalization, punctuation and format for writing your address.
